Here is a Quick Take video on the brand new Cineroid EVF (Electronic View Finder). The EVF has a ton of great features including, Peaking, Saturation, Monochrome and a Pixel to Pixel function that can also be used while recording with the Canon 7D and 1D MK IV. It also worked on the Nikon D7000. The resolution of the LCD is 800 X 480. The loop hinges up and can also be removed for use as a small on-camera monitor. The components are made of durable plastic. It feels sturdy. The tiny supplied ball mount adapter even stayed in place while shooting. I would recommend looking into some kind of adjustable arm to add functionality to the EVF. The kit includes the EVF, a 1/4 inch thread to hot shoe ball mount adapter, a Sony style npf-550 battery with charger, a few international A/C adapters one mini HDMI-mini HDMI cable and a nifty carrying case. The Cineroid EVF is not cheap at around $800 US. They are one of the first companies to get an HDSLR specific HDMI EVF on the market. Here are the specifications from the Cineroid website.
